(Specialized classes can be taken on their own, or combined to help students become triple threats! Mondays 4-5 pm Elementary Dance Technique for Musical Theatre (K-5th grade)
Mondays 5-6 pm Intermediate Dance Technique for Musical Theatre (5th-12th)
Every actor needs to be a good dancer too, or at least "move well!" Students will focus on learning proper dance technique while exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway shows! Class curriculum is based on ballet technique, layered with Broadway style jazz and tap movements, and includes a proper warmup, stretches, isolations, across the floor progressions and combinations. Put it all together while you work on dance numbers from popular Broadway shows each week! Dance students will have multiple performances throughout the year, including Spring Showcase!
VOCAL / MUSIC / SHOW CHOIR
Mondays 5-6 pm Elementary Show Choir / Group Voice (1st-5th)
Mondays 6-7 Sr. Show Choir / Group Voice (5th-12th)
Love to sing along with the radio and put on a show? Want to have a stronger voice and feel more confident when you're singing? This is the class for you! Students will learn proper vocal technique, develop their projection and breath control, learn to read music, and work on their theory and sight-singing skills while performing upbeat routines of modern pop music, standards, and Broadway hits! There will be at least 1 outside performance opportunity during the year, in addition to Spring Showcase.
Students may also enroll in private voice lessons with us to enhance their vocal development. Contact us for details.
SCENE STUDY / ACTING METHODS / IMPROV & SKETCH VIDEOS ACTING

Mondays 7-8 pm Sr Improv Troupe & Sketch Videos Acting (6th-12th)
Mondays 8-9 pm Scene Study & Acting Methods (6th-12th)
In Improv & Sketch Video Acting class you'll bring sketch comedy to life and access your own comedic instincts, spontaneity, and imagination while playing Improv games, creating characters and skits, and learning to listen, communicate, and support each other as an ensemble! You'll write, produce, and film sketch comedy short films, as well as perform a Night of Improv for your family & friends. This class will be a natural fit for the born performer, the class clown, the playwright, or the quiet student who needs a supportive environment to come out of his shell. Expect a supportive and judgement-free environment where you can learn to trust yourself as a performer, and have a fabulous time doing it.
Are you ready to level up in your acting ability? Scene Study and Acting Methods is the class for them! Students will dive into character analysis, scene structure, and characterization as they rehearse and perform various dramatic and comedic scenes from the theatre canon. They will learn how to react to a scene partner and make strong choices using their Actor's Toolbox to create 3-dimensional characters. They'll also learn about various acting techniques including Stanislavski, Meisner, Strasberg, and Adler.
